	Transbotics had its start when a group of young Swedish engineers took their highly successful AGV controls company, then known as NDC AB, to America. The newly formed subsidiary, based in Charlotte, was called NDC Automation. The company grew from a small licensing firm to what is now a formidable international supplier of both standard and custom-designed AGV Systems. In 2001, NDC Automation, changed its' name to Transbotics Corporation to reflect the company’s roots as a provider of transportation based robotics; more commonly known as an AGV. The company has remained in Charlotte, NC providing clients quick access to world-class hotels, an assortment of noted dining choices and an international airport.
