Project Manager/Engineer

Immediate opening for a project manager/engineer, with 5+ years of experience, to implement and integrate material handling automation equipment including Automatic Guided Vehicles (AGV's). Candidate must be degreed, have proficient pc skills, and be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
Responsibilities include: 

• Writing functional specifications

• Perform engineering task on projects

• Schedule work internally and externally

• Place and negotiate purchase orders

• Perform customer communications.

• Financials and documentation

Electrical Automation Engineer

Immediate opening for a electrical controls engineer to implement and integrate material handling automation equipment including Automatic Guided Vehicles (AGV's).
Responsibilities include:

• Design control systems using PLCs, HMIs, and variable-speed drives.

• Generate schematic diagrams, panel layouts, and bill of material.

• Program PLC code, HMI screens, and drive parameters.

• Perform functional test of machinery.

• On-site start-up support.

• Travel is typically 30-60%.

Qualifications:

• BSET or BSEE degree

• Hands-on experience with PLC, HMI, and variable-speed drives

• Written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to interface with people on all levels

• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities

• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment

• Strong work ethics

• Minimum 1-3 years experience preferred

Additional Considerations:

• Experience with Allen-Bradley drives and controls

• Understanding of material handling applications (robotics, conveyors, etc)

• SolidWorks, AutoCAD or DWGEditor

Automation/Project Engineer

Seeking candidates with a minimum of 2 years engineering technology experience.  Must be proficient in Microsoft applications and AutoCAD, have electronics and basic programming experience, have good troubleshooting skills, and be willing to travel on a regular basis.  Self-starter and problem solver required.  Good interpersonal and communication skills essential.
