Transbotics Corporation, a certified KUKA Robotics Integrator, offers complete robotic palletizing solutions through a partnership with Kuka Robotics.

Transbotics and KUKA recently combined forces in an automation success, implementing a system of two robotic cells.

The system includes two robots with multifunctional End of Arm Tooling (EOAT), two controllers, safety fencing with light curtains, and a section of conveyor for pallet stack drop-off. This new system has improved operation efficiency and throughput, proving to be a cost-effective, low-maintenance palletizing solution.

In operation, the customer’s Automated Storage/Retrieval System (ASRS) feeds the robot three different sized totes from a conveyor. The robot picks up a pallet and places it in an Automatic Guided Vehicle (AGV) interface station. Next, the robot picks up the totes using the multifunctional EOAT and places them on the pallet.  Last, an AGV delivers the pallet to the production floor.

For 25 years, Transbotics Corporation has specialized in the design, development, installation and support of automation solutions with an emphasis on AGVs. The company is a complete automation solutions integrator. Transbotics manufactures, installs, and supports various automation technologies, including AGVs, AGCs, KUKA robots, conveyors, batteries, chargers, motors, and other related products.
